洛杉磯縣與法律界提供各項服務

洛杉磯縣官員和非牟利法律組織領導人， 12月10日在一場少數族裔新聞媒體視訊會議中，介紹各項協助小型企業和其員工的計劃，他們稱，現在是新冠疫情爆發以來，「洛杉磯縣面對的最危險時刻」。
儘管洛杉磯縣無法提供小型企業需要的每一項援助，這些計劃還是引起許多民眾和美國縣級官員的興趣。
洛杉磯縣公共衛生廳（Department of Public Health）環境衛生公共事務經理坎普（Carl Kemp）說：「小型企業現在的處境十分艱難。」他呼籲，在疫情危機緩解之前，遵守衛生規定非常重要。他指出，最新的限制包括超市店內顧客人數只能有正常容量的35%、零售商店店內顧客人數只能有正常容量的20%、餐廳只能提供外賣和送餐的服務等等。

洛杉磯縣公共衛生廳消費者與商業事務專員波巴狄拉（Ernesto Bobadilla）介紹了小型商業災難協助中心（Disaster Help Center），這個中心3月26 日與「勞動力發展、老齡化與社區服務中心」（Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services，簡稱WDACS）同時啟動。
波巴狄拉表示，災難協助中心已經接到3萬3000通電話和2300封電子郵件，大部分使用的語言是英語、西班牙語和韓語，提供關於四個主要問題的資訊：彌補因倒閉和生意下滑造成商店收入損失的資金來源、關於暫停逼遷和交租的問題、安全與重開規定、租金援助。

舒多夫斯基表示，最近一些調查發現，非裔民眾擁有的企業倒閉的比例為40%，西語裔民眾擁有的企業倒閉的比例32%，移民和女性擁有的企業倒閉的比例也很可觀。
舒多夫斯基說：「因此，我們決定聯絡這些小型企業，從法律的角度幫助他們站起來、找到他們需要的援助。」
Bet Tzedek和合作夥伴提供法律教育（目前大部分透過視訊開放給所有企業），並可根據申請過程中認定的財務資格標準，提供免費的法律服務。
