CHICAGO, Illinois — Vice President Kamala Harris will focus her presidential acceptance speech tonight, Aug. 22, on three axes: her history, the future and danger of Project 2025 and her own vision of the future with the defense of rights.

This was revealed by a campaign official for the Harris Walz campaign. He could not specify if the Democratic Presidential nominee would be addressing immigration policy.

The campaign official declined to be identified because he is not authorized to discuss Vice President Harris’ closing remarks at the Democratic National Convention.

“She will share her story and her record with the American people,” the official said. “The vice president will tell her story of being raised by a working mother in a middle-class neighborhood. That background means she knows the everyday joys and challenges experienced by middle-class families like her own, and she shares those values.”

Project 2025

Harris will also devote a part to comparing her position in different areas, in comparison with Project 2025, which is considered the government plan of former President Donald Trump, although he has denied being part of it.

“[The vice president] will point out the dangers posed by Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda, which would strip people of their freedoms, raise the cost of living, and set the country back,” he said. “Instead, she will present a new path forward: an optimistic agenda that offers economic opportunity and protects the fundamental freedoms of all Americans.
