The Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) launched the California Connects: Regional Convenings, a first-of-its-kind, state-led event series designed to strengthen community networks across California. During a time of fracture within the nation, this is an 8-city statewide tour designed to bring together community partners, state agencies, and local leaders. Each convening included Interactive workshops, networking opportunities and hands-on training sessions aimed at equipping community-based organizations with tools to better serve their communities. The initiative builds on OCPSC’s ongoing work to connect Californians with hundreds of state programs and resources. By bringing together diverse voices and organizations, California Connects: Regional Convenings lays the groundwork for stronger, more resilient communities across the state.
